it is a craft. I've taken up beading. Starting with the flowerpots, then I decided to see what would happen if I sewed some beads together, now the beads have taken over my entire house and everyone gets jewelry for their birthday. It's a very relaxing hobby, and I have even sold some pieces. Here are some pics of my works:

Does anyone else have any crafts they can post pictures of?

I do not know how you have the patience to do this, Cat. They are lovely. I've looked at beads at the craft store, but they are quite expensive here, even on sale. Glad that you have a hobby that you enjoy.

I love that bracelet in the 7th to last photo - would be perfect for me Laughing

I used to make jewelry but have gotten out of it - had a beading weekend this summer with a friend who owns a bead store - she was down at my sister's and a few of us got together. Spent a lot of money but haven't made anything - too much going on I guess. I also want to get some fun beads - I have a lot of beads from when I did it before but they are mainly semi-precious stone beads - I want some fun beads too.

I should make a trip up to Richmond to see her store (her name's Mel).

Her store is:

Cat, meant to tell you that your photographs of the jewelry are also beautiful, all the detail has such clarity. Did you take them yourself? Good ad copy!!!

Those pieces are truly beautiful. I am impressed. I brought my watercolours to Mexico. If I ever actually paint something I'll post a pic.

I would love to see some pics of your watercolor paintings! I'll bet Mexico is very inspiring.

Yes, I took the pictures myself. My camera has a "food" setting and I used that.
